이 글은 현재 다양하게 전개되고 있는 음악창조에 있어서의 변화를 창의성이라는 관점에서 살펴보고 이러한 변화가 창의성에 대한 우리의 이해에 어떤 변화를 가져오는지 생각해보기 위하여 작성되었다. 특히 최근의 음악창조의 경향, 개인적 작업으로는 불가능한, 그래서 반드시‘협업’의 구조 속에서만 가능한 음악생산과 사이버 인공물과의 협업이 전통적 창의성 이해의 인식적 전환에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 또한 오늘날 제3의 인지과학이라 불리는 체화된 인지, 분산된 인지, 상황인지 등의 경향에 영향을 받은 문화심리학적 창의성 이론의 관점이 창의성에 대한 이해를 전환시키는 지점을 논의하고 음악교육과 연관된 앞으로의 창의성 연구방향에 대해 언급하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe the new trend of music-creation in the changing environment and to reconsider our understanding of creativity. After examining key examples of new artistic practice which are created through collective work online or offline and collaboration with artifacts on cyberspace, it is discussed the necessity for extending the view of the I-paradigm in creativity, reviewing the brief summary of research on creativity. As the shift to We-paradigm in the understanding of creativity, cultural psychology approach influenced by theories of embodied, distributed, or situated cognition is proposed as well as some of the implications for the study of creativity.
