고령장애인의 생활만족도 영향요인에 관한 종단적 분석

초록

본 연구는 고령장애인의 연차별 생활만족도 변화 양상을 살펴보고, 2차년도의 예측요인들이 고령장애인 생활만족도의 발달궤적에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 장애인 고용패널 2∼8차년도의 자료를 이용하여 잠재성장모형(Latent Growth Model)으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 무조건 모형 검증에서는 2차년도 변화모형이 가장 적합하였고, 생활만족도는 6년 동안 감소한 것으로 나타났으며 2차년도의 생활만족도가 높은 고령장애인은 8차년도에 생활만족도가 조금 낮아진 반면, 2차년도 생활만족도가 낮은 고령장애인의 경우 8차년도 생활만족도가 크게 낮았다. 조건모형분석을 살펴보면 먼저, 생활만족도의 초기치에 영향을 미치는 변수는 사회경제적지위와 기초생활수급여부, 현재경제활동상태, 현재건강상태, 장애정도, 배우자 동거여부, 노후준비여부, 가처분소득이었다. 즉 중위소득 이상이고, 스스로 느끼는 사회경제적지위가 중상층 이상이며, 기초생활수급을 받지 않고, 경제활동을 할수록 생활만족도의 초기치가 높았다. 또한, 현재 건강상태가 양호하고, 장애정도가 경증이며, 배우자와 함께 동거를 하고 노후준비가 되어 있을수록 생활만족도의 초기치가 높았다. 생활만족도의 변화율에 영향을 미치는 변수에서는 연령은 생활만족도의 변화율에 부적(-) 영향을 미쳐 고령장애인의 연령이 높아질수록 생활만족도의 감소는 더 했다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 고령장애인의 생활만족도 향상을 위해 필요한 정책적 방향성을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes in life satisfaction of elderly with disabilities. In order to analyze the effect of life satisfaction on the developmental trajectory of the elderly with disabilities, the potential growth model using data from the second to eighth year of the Employment Panel for People with Disabilities was utilized. The results of the analysis showed that the second year change model was most suitable for unconditional type verification and life satisfaction increased for 6 years. The life satisfaction rate of the second year was higher and the rate of life satisfaction was slower with time. As the result of the conditional analysis, the variables affecting the initial level of life satisfaction were socioeconomic status, basic living supply status, current economic activity status, present health status, disability level, living status with spouse, retirement preparation status, disposable income. Specifically, the socioeconomic status above the middle income level was higher than that of the middle class, and the initial level of life satisfaction was higher as the economic activities were not received. In addition, as the present state of health is good, the degree of disability is mild, and the life satisfaction with the spouse is along together with the preparation for the old, the initial value was higher. In terms of the variables affecting the rate of change of life satisfaction, age showed a negative (-) effect on the change of life satisfaction, i.e., as the age of the elderly person with disabilities increased, life satisfaction decreased. Based on the results, the policy directions to improve the life satisfaction of elderly people with disabilities were discussed.
