요양병원 간호사의 치매간호지식, 치매태도 및 인간중심 돌봄과의 관계
Relationship between Knowledge of Dementia Care, Attitude toward Dementia and Person-centered Care among Nurses in Geriatric Hospitals

본 연구는 요양병원 간호사를 대상으로 치매간호지식, 태도 및 인간중심 돌봄의 상관관계를 파악하고 치매간호지식과 태도가 인간중심 돌봄에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 대상자의 치매간호지식점수는 11.69(16점 만점), 치매태도는 4.70점(7점 만점), 인간중심 돌봄은 3.34점(5점 만점)이었다. 치매태도가 긍정적일수록 인간중심 돌봄이 증가하였고, 인간중심돌봄에는 치매태도, 병원운영 만족도가 관련있는 변수로 나타났고 설명력은 23%였다. 이상의 결과를 근거로 하여 요양병원 간호사를 대상으로 한 치매태도 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발과 요양병원의 인간중심 돌봄 접근법의 확산을 위해서는 병원운영과 관련된 개선방안과 만족도 향상을 위한 탐색과 반복 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships between knowledge of dementia care, attitude toward dementia and person-centered care among nurses in geriatric hospitals. Methods: Participants were 115 nurses from the seven geriatric hospitals. Data were collected from September 5th through 21st in 2018 and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Person-centered care was significantly different according to satisfaction with income, career of geriatric hospital, application of their opinions, and the satisfaction with hospital managers, administrators and nurse managers. Also person-centered care showed a significant positive correlation with the attitude toward dementia. Predictors of person-centered care were the satisfaction with hospital managers and the attitude toward dementia, which explained 23.0% of the variance.
