초록
Polycarbogermosilane copolymer containing 1,1-diethyl-3,4-diphenyl-2,5-silolene and diphenylgermylene, such as poly[(1,1-diethyl-3,4-diphenyl-2,5-silolene)-co-(diphenyl- germylene)], was prepared for its possible application to the energy storage material. The Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum of the copolymer shows the characteristic diene stretching frequency at 1596 cm-1. The obtained material is highly soluble in common organic solvents such as tetrahydrofuran (THF) and chloroform. According to gel permeation chromatography (GPC) the average molecular weight of the polymer was determined as 659/629 (Mw/Mn) with polydispersity of 1.04. The prepared material in tetrahydrofuran solvent shows strong absorption maximum peak at 259 nm along with shoulder band of 299 nm extending from 259 to 400 nm in the UV-visible absorption spectrum, strong excitation maximum peak at 287 nm, and strong emission maximum peak at 376 nm in the fluorescence emission spectrum. All the absorption, excitation, and emission spectra above mentioned are indicative of chromophores of phenyl and diene groups along the polymer backbone. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) shows that the copolymer is thermally stable up to 200 ℃ with a weight loss of 7 % only in nitrogen.
Abstract
