Abstract

Modern society becomes one in which people cannot live any moreno longer with without thinking based on absolute ideology or valuesowing to the development of digital culture and mass-media where diversificationdiversity is accepted inevitable. As people diversifiedways of thinking rather than adhering to one value in the midst offlooding of culture and information, they can share various culturesand information in real time as flexible fusion design, which matcheswell with public's different thinking, becomes popular pattern. To designin general, combination of technology is performed through thecollaboration with other fields, and in recent textile design, works thathave not only esthetics but functionality have been released as theyare influenced by design and science. Especially the development oftextile products is noticeable in the field of fusion technology that ismade through the combination of different technologies as technologiesadvance. While past textile design industry concentrated on making designs tosatisfy consumers' taste, modern textile design is a cultural productthat science and art cooperate to make; and it is has being changedand applied continuously into various forms, and it can create diversifieddemands. In this context textile product design is classified intothree fields of interior, goods and fashion and then analyzed; andeach field is investigated in terms of functionality, sensibility andeco-friendly textile utilization and the characteristics are to be studied. Hence, in this study the fusion patterns and case study of future textileindustry and the possibility of textile design that combines scientifictechnologies are to be suggested.
