Abstract
This research aimed to explore self-care and the meaning of life through home training for women in their 30s. The study participants consisted of six women in their 30s who engage in home training, selected using a snowball sampling method, and the research results were derived through inductive category analysis via in-depth interviews. Transcriptions of the interviews were analyzed using inductive category analysis, which involved coding the data and deriving higher-order categories. To ensure the credibility and ethical integrity of the findings, the validity of the analysis was reviewed and confirmed through a peer debriefing process involving a panel of three experts. The research findings are as follows. First, regarding mental health recovery, women in their 30s experienced mental health improvement through home training. Exercise functioned as a means of psychological healing, alleviating depression and anxiety and finding emotional stability, rather than being just a physical activity. Second, in terms of self-care, home training acted as a practical space for women's self-love and the restoration of self-esteem, which can be interpreted as an important mechanism for enhancing women's quality of life. Third, the acceptance of pain shows that women are transforming pain not into avoidance but into an opportunity for acceptance and growth through exercise. Fourthly, through integrated reflection on life, the participants recognized the body not merely as a physical structure, but as an integral medium that constitutes life and existence. Home training provides women a safe and sustainable practice space for physical and mental recovery, which is then expanded into a sense of responsibility and care for one's own existence.
