본 연구의 목적은 문자의 시원과 본질에 대한 인식론적 존재론적 성찰을 제시하는 데 있다. 본 연구는 문자 인문학의 구축을 위한 예비적 연구로서 이때 문자 인문학은 문자의 체계를 수립하는 일을 기초로 삼아 문자의 테크놀로지 차원에 초점을 두면서, 문자의 인지적, 사회 문화적, 정치적 의미와 그 사용 및 순환 공간에 대한 연구를 포함하고, 끝으로 문자가 체현되는 다양한 매체들의 상호 연관성, 즉 문자의 상호 매체성을 연구하는 방대한 연구 프로그램을 형성한다. 본 연구는 현대 문자학의 세 가지 한계를 식별해내었다. 1. 진화론, 2. 음성 중심주의, 3. 민족 중심주의가 그것이다. 이 점에서 르루아 구랑 사상의 중요성을 부각시켰다.
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to provide some ontological and epistemological remarks on the nature of writing. This study is a preliminary work to found the humanities of writing which might include social and political dimension, intermediality of writing. The author has revealed three limitations of modern grammatology. These are evolutionism, phonocentrism and ethnocentrism. In this regard, this paper focuses on the primordial importance of André Leroi Gourhan.
