20세기초 한국서사문학의 두 가지 양식

Abstract

There are two mode in Korean modern novel in early 20c when is the period of enlightenment. The time is complexity of politics, cultures and etc. It is because that Korean everything is changing for inference of England, China, Russia, and Japan. Especially, Japan has an impact on our country. Subject of one type modern literary is loyalty and love of korea that subject is save and guard of nation. On the other hand, materials are translation of others land history and characters of novel is a hero and heroin. We called the literary 'Aikok gemoonggi Moon-hag(애국 계몽기 문학, the means nation of love, and enlightment)', Writers engaged in this group are Park, Jang and Shin.(朴殷植, 張志淵, 申采浩) The other hand, the mode of novel is called Sin-sosail(신소설, means new novel), that is new subject, material, form, and characters and everything of story that composer are some travellers out of country and some students of foreign culture and artists. This community has a large members whose name is Lee(李人稙), Choi(崔瓚植), Kim(金敎濟), Ann(安國善), Lee(李海潮), Joi(趙重恒), Lee(李相協), Koo(具然學), Hyun(玄公烈), Kim(金宇鎭), Lee(李相春), and added about forty persons. A characteristic of this novel is, most of all, showing the new world to readers whose are many women, can not read a Han-moon(means Korean-chines letter). They interested in subjects, characters and affairs of love man and woman in new novels. The important of this group literature is subjectivity of a person than loyalty and love of country and is new form of novel. Those two mode of korean literary is continued.
