초록
The power spectral densities of aerodynamic moments obtained from aerodynamic force balance or synchronous pressure integration measurements often exhibit a saw-tooth shape and can be affected by unintended noise sources. This noise can distort tall buildings' true dynamic wind responses, leading to inaccurate estimations. Therefore, it is essential to filter out noise and smooth the modal wind load spectra before conducting dynamic analysis to accurately predict the wind-induced responses of the building. In this study, Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) is used to improve the accuracy and reliability of modal wind load spectra by minimizing the impact of noise and spectral data fluctuations. A modified SSA method tailored for modal wind load spectra is outlined and has been implemented on those of tall twin buildings. The results show that SSA effectively reduces noise and enhances smoothness, resulting in more precise and consistent modal wind load spectra. This method has the potential to enhance the performance of testing and analysis in various wind engineering applications.
