Abstract
Toxic shock like syndrome is a specific clinical infection caused by group A beta - hemolytic streptococcus(S. pyogenes) , which is relatively rare and potentially fatal, and is characterized by rapidly progressive necrosis of the subcutaneous tissue. A case report was a 62-year-old woman who displayed wide-spread dusky blue colored necrotic skin on her right lower leg. Streptococcus pyogeηes was Isoated from the necrotic muscles on her right lower leg.
