Abstract
Liver disease is one of the most prevalent disorders and it is closely associated with hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection in Korean. This study was carried out to comparing rapid one step kit with EIA for detection of hepatitis marker(HBsAg and anti - HBs) with samples of various titers and sufficient numbers. This result are as follows ; 1. Sensitivities of Abbott, MIZUHO, Seratec and Bionike for HBsAg detection were 85.0%, 90.0% , 85.0% and 85.0% , respectivity. 2. Sensitivities of Abbott, Bionike for anti-HBs detection were 88.0%, 100%. 3. Specificities of Abbott, MIZUHO, Seratec and Bionike for HBsAg detection were 100%, 100%, 93.3% , 100%. 4. Specificities of Abbott, Bionike for anti - HBs detection were 86.7%, 60.0%. In this test, rapid one step kits for quantitative test of HBV markers may be available tools for screening test in clinical specimens.
