면역비탁법을 이용한 HbA1c 측정의 유용성 평가

Abstract

Detection of hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c) is one of the most important monitoring procedures for long-term control of diabetes mellitus. Several analytical methods have been developed for the measurement of HbA1c, such as affinity or ion exchange chromatography. In this study, HbA1c was determined by immunoturbidimetric assay and compared with HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) method. The precision, accuracy and carryover of immunoturbidimetric method were also determined for clinical usefulness. Ninetyfour samples were used for comparative study with HPLC. Within-run coefficients of variation (CVs) of immunoturbidimetric method were 1.99%, 0.90%, and 0.59% in high, medium, and low concentration samples, respectively. Moreover recovery rate was approximately 98.0-99.0%. The data of immunoturbidimetric method were correlated well with HPLC method (r=0.9691). In summary, the HbA1c test using immunoturbidimetry provides a simple, precise and accurate method for clinical routine work.
