Recently, as a result of democratization of criminal proceedings, the protection of the suspect's human rights are being developed. However, compared with an advanced country, the protection of a victim's human rights and reliefs are still unsatisfied. Namely, criminal procedures are progressing around the suspect and nation except victims. For that reason, mistrust of private law is growing. A thesis of victimology for the protection for victims and establishment of a new policy that approach to victims with a new viewpoint is an important fact. After the World WarⅡ, around the Hans von Hentig and Mendelshon, many researchers were published the results of victim reasearch work. However, because of discussion of victim problem that premise a criminological access, position of victim meaned as an axle of find out the criminal causes. Victimological concerned at this moment, focused on aspect of cause that process of victimize about criminal act only, the protection and restoration of victim was under private law's charge. Since the 1970's, however, made a rapid advances in the protection of victim. Problems that position of victim in criminal proceedings in 80's.
