경동맥이중초음파검사는 두경부 혈관질환을 빠르고, 비침습적으로 진단하는 데 효과적인 검사 방법이다. 또한, 치료 효과 평가와 시술 후 예후 예측에 필수적인 역할을 한다. 그러나 검사방법의 표준화 부족으로 인해 진단 정확도에 차이가 발생할 수 있으며, 두경부 혈관질환의 다양성과 복잡성으로 인해 경험이 부족한 검사자가 오진할 가능성이 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 경동맥이중초음파검사의 표준화된 절차를 제안하고, 체계적인 교육 자료를 제공함으로써 진단의 정확성과 신뢰도를 향상시키고자 한다. 그뿐만 아니라, 선행 연구를 바탕으로 검증된 진단 기준을 제시하고, 다양한 임상 사례를 분석하여 실제 임상 현장에서 활용 가능한 매뉴얼을 마련하고자 한다. 이를 통해 더욱 정확한 진단과 신뢰할 수 있는 평가를 가능하게 하여, 궁극적으로 환자 치료를 향상시키는 데 기여하고자 한다.
Abstract
Carotid duplex ultrasonography is an effective method for rapidly and non-invasively diagnosing head and neck vascular diseases. In addition, it plays a crucial role in evaluating the treatment outcomes and predicting post-procedural prognoses. Nevertheless, the lack of standardized examination procedures can lead to variations in diagnostic accuracy. Moreover, the diversity and complexity of head and neck vascular diseases increase the risk of misdiagnoses by inexperienced examiners. This study addresses these issues by proposing standardized procedures for carotid duplex ultrasonography and providing systematic educational materials to improve diagnostic accuracy and reliability. Furthermore, this study aims to develop a clinically applicable manual by presenting validated diagnostic criteria based on previous research and analyzing various clinical cases. This study may improve patient care by enabling more accurate diagnoses and reliable evaluations.
