Abstract
The day of the Lord is one of main theme in the Old Testament from early. Many theologians has been argued to identify its singular concept. But recently they separated three concepts as fellow: 1)nearly judgement by YHWH through Assyria and Babylon(Exile) 2)the day of released from Exile 3)the day of Messianic judgement(post-Exile). However it is getting exposer its complexity that several concepts are mixed up. If we reserch throughout diachronic method there are two differency in broad meaning, one is imminency and other is finality. First is conclude by historical context, second is final judgement's day by re-coming of Jesus. Especially Isaiah is show us both character. He was a prophet of Judea B.C. 8. In his period Jeroboham II was king of Jerusalem and was rich and powerful. So they though it is grace of God and God will bless them futhermore. But Isaiah proclaimed it is not blessing of God but curse, so God will punish to against their sins. It will be happen in the day of the Lord. They will be prisoner by Assyria and Babylon. But God will arise a savior whom will make release Israel. It was already came true by Cyrus in historic but not yet by Jesus.
