초등학생의 비속어 사용에 관한 연구

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the vulgar language which are in use among Elementary Students. In evaluating the characteristics of vulgar language, the formation of the vulgar language was found to be derived from affix combinations, foreign languages(English and Japanese), changes in phoneme, and the use of adverbs. Most of vulgar language were used to point out an individual, and in the lower grade levels, expressions that abase a person’s physical appearance were predominant, and with higher-grade levels, expressions describing conditions or actions increased. In thorough evaluation of the use of vulgar language, the frequency of vulgar language use can be divided into three categories: acquirement of vulgar language(1st and 2nd grade level), continuance of vulgar language(3rd and 4th grade level), and extension of vulgar language (5th and 6th grade level). The use of vulgar language were closely related to children’s’ natural inclination to make fun of other students and use of expletive expressions by peers.
