본 논문은 한반도를 둘러싼 대외 환경의 급격한 변화에 대응하여 우리의 통일정책이 아시아지역통합의 차원에서 어떻게 바뀌어야 하는지를 분석하기 위해 통일 통합 및 이행의 이론적 개념적 관계를 정리하는 종합적 분석틀을 제시하고 이에 따른 정책적 함의를 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2장에서는 기존의 통일과 아시아지역통합 관련 이론과 모델 및 개념들을 정리한다. 3장에서는 통일과 아시아 지역통합 관련 각종 쟁점들을 다룬다. 4장은 이상의 논의를 바탕으로 통일과 통합 및 이행을 종합적으로 분석할 수 있는 종합적 분석틀 구축을 시도한다. 5장은 결론으로 정책적 함의를 도출한다.
Abstract
The paper tries to analyze how to change our unification policy from the perspective of Asian regional integration confronting the rapid change of external environments surrounding the Korean Peninsular. In order to do that, the paper suggests comprehensive analytical frameworks summarizing theoretical and conceptual relationships of unification, integration and transition and derives policy implications. Ch. 2 summarizes existing theories, models and concepts regarding unification and Asian regional integration. Ch. 3 deals with controversial points regarding unification and Asian regional integration. Based on these discussions, Ch. 4 tries to establish frameworks for analyzing comprehensively unification, integration and transition. Ch. 5 derives policy implications as a conclusion.
