The purpose of this study is to explore the advantages and limitations of existing functional games for the elderly and explore the storytelling strategies of functional games for the elderly by combining the media possibilities of the sensory games. Based on theoretical exploration and empirical approach to the functional game for the elderly, this study examines the coexistence of the elderly person 's specificity, the technical attribute of the sensory interface, and the heterogeneous properties of fun and function, To construct a storytelling strategy and to organize <The Four Seasons>. <The Four Seasons> is a sensational game for rehabilitation using kinetic sensor Kinect. The gameplay process gives mental comfort and physical health to the elderly who are suffering from stroke due to hemiplegia, the elderly and the elderly who are not moving smoothly. The basic strategy for the planning of this game is to allow the circulation of motivation, motion repetition, and feedback to be interesting through the in-game mechanism. <The Four Seasons> is a game in which emotional play and motion play are causally connected, and deliberately derives certain emotions and induces behavior as a result. This study is expected to have the potential to present a concrete plan of what kind of actual improvement can be made to the functional game for the elderly by systematically describing the story planning process of <The Four Seasons>.
