Abstract
Recently, Chen establishes sharp relationship between thek-Ricci curvature and the squared mean curvature for asubmanifold in a Riemannian space form with arbitrary codimension.In this paper, we establish sharp relationships between the Riccicurvature and the squared mean curvature for submanifolds inquaternion projective spaces.
