연구 목적: 본 연구는 조현병 환자에 대한 부정적인 속성을 기재한 가상의 언론 보도 기사를 실험자극으로 제시하였을 때, 사회적 낙인, 내집단 도덕적 정체성 및 내집단 동일시에 따라 조현병 환자에 대한 비인간화에 미치는 영향이 달라지는지 검증하였다. 연구 방법: 이를 위해 20대 성인 총 85명을 대상으로 오프라인에서 실험자극인 가상의 기사를 제시하고 사회적 낙인, 내집단 도덕적 정체성, 내집단 동일시 설문을 진행하였다. 연구 내용: 연구 결과 첫째, 동일한 가상의 기사에 노출되었음에도 불구하고 높은 사회적 낙인 및 내집단 동일시를 보인 집단은 조현병 환자에 대해 비인간화를 가장 많이 하였다. 둘째, 내집단 동일시와 내집단 도덕적 정체성에 따른 비인간화의 집단 간 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 결론 및 제언: 이를 통해 사회적으로 발생하는 조병병 환자의 비인간화를 심도 있게 설명하고, 조현병 환자가 비장애인과 사회적으로 공생할 수 있는 심리학적 방안을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The study examined whether social stigmas, in-group moral identity, and in-group identification would effect on dehumanization about patients with schizophrenia when it presented a hypothetical media report with negative attributes for patients with schizophrenia as experimental stimuli. For this purpose, 85 in twenty participated to experiment and survey in offline. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, In spite of reading the same fictional article, Group with high social stigmas and high in-group identification was the most dehumanized of patients with schizophrenia. Second, No differences have been found between the group divided by in-group identification and in-group moral identity. Through these findings, the dehumanization of schizophrenic patients was explained in depth, and discussed psychological measures for schizophrenic patients and non-disabled people to coexist socially together.
