연구 목적: 본 연구는 암 생존자의 희망에 관한 속성을 규명하고 개념을 명확히 함으로써 암 생존자의 희망에 대한 이해와 긍정적 적응을 위한 근거를 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 Walker & Avant(2005)의 개념분석 단계를 적용하여 개념을 선정, 개념분석의 목적을 설정, 개념의 사용 범위 확인, 개념의 정확한 속성 결정, 모델 사례 확인, 부가사례(경계 사례, 연관 사례, 반대 사례) 확인, 개념의 선행 요인과 결과를 확인, 경험적 준거를 확인하는 절차로 진행하였다. 연구 내용: 2005년 1월 1일부터 2018년 12월 31일까지 발표된 연구 중 ‘암’, ‘암 생존자’, ‘희망’, ‘cancer’, ‘cancer survivor’, ‘hope’을 검색어로 조합하여 국･내외 4개의 DB에서 검색된 20개의 문헌을 선정하여 분석하였다. 결론 및 제언: 분석 결과 암 생존자의 희망 속성은 개인의 경험적, 현실적 과정, 상황에 따른 다차원적, 역동적, 전환적 과정, 상호 관계적 과정, 건강 회복과 치유의 과정, 영적 안녕 상태라는 5가지 속성이 도출되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 암 생존자에 대한 이해와 긍정적 적응에 도움이 되는 간호중재 및 이론적 근거 마련에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to establish a basis for understanding the hope of cancer survivors by identifying the properties of the hope of cancer survivors and clarifying the concept. For this purpose, the concept analysis of Walker & Avant (2005) was used. The literature selection method is based on the researches from Jan. 1, 2005 to Dec. 31, 2018, and 20 documents retrieved from four DBs were selected and analyzed by combining ‘cancer’, ‘cancer survivors’, and 'hope' as search terms. Hope among cancer survivor were derived from five attributes: an individual's empirical and realistic process, a multidimensional, dynamic, and transitional process according to the situation, an interrelational process, a process of health recovery and healing, and a state of spiritual well-being. Therefore, this study is expected to be helpful in preparing a theoretical basis and nursing intervention that helps understand to cancer survivors.
