연구 목적: 본 논문은 게슈탈트 심리학 시지각 이론을 통해 터너의 해경화에 대한 분석 연구를 하였다. 이를 통해 터너의 회화 창작 활동을 더욱 깊이 이해하고자 한다. 연구 방법: 이 글은 시지각 이론을 바탕으로 터너의 작품을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 연구는 터너 해경화의 창작 특징과 형성 과정을 위주로 분석하였다. 여기에는 진실한 기록과 전달의 창작방법, 회화적 추상과 의상(意象)의 출현, 조화롭고 통일된 화면 효과가 포함된다. 결론 및 제언: 게슈탈트 시지각 이론에 대한 분석을 통해 터너 해경화의 창작 방법은 순차적이고 서로 맞물리면서 통일된 창작 체계를 이루었다. 그뿐만 아니라 터너 회화 중에 표현된 전위성이 시지각 이론에서 합리적인 해석을 받을 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper aims to analyze and study Turner’s seascape painting by using Gestalt psychology visual perception theory. In order to better understand Turner’s painting activities. Based on the theory of visual perception, this paper makes a comparative analysis of Turner’s works. The research mainly analyzes the creation characteristics and formation process of Turner's seascape painting. These include authentically recorded and conveyed creative methods, the emergence of abstraction and imagery in painting, and harmonious and unified picture effects. Through the analysis of Gestalt vision perception theory, the creation methods of Turner’s seascape painting are orderly and connected with each other, forming a unified creation system. Moreover, the avant-garde nature of Turner's painting can also be reasonably explained in the theory of visual perception.
