This paper demonstrated that the 17 th century’s Lee Su-gwang has a bibliographical thought through the records of the list of names of books and authors in reserve left behind, and knowledge classification in “Ji-bong-yu-seol(芝峯類說)”. The characteristics of Ji-bong's bibliographical theory are summarized in the following three directions. First, it is an independent patriotic thought that cherishes Dongkuk(東國) literature against Chinal. Second, it emphasizes the value of the novelist and embraces heresy ideology. Third, it is a time-saving idea to use and write abridgement edition and a summary book, and a book review.
Abstract
