검시란 죽음에 대한 조사를 의미하는 것으로, 죽음에 대한 법률적 판단을 위하여 시체 및 그 주변의 현장을 포함하여 종합적으로 조사하는 것을 말한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 현재의 검시 방법에 대한 문제점을 도출 하고 이에 대한 미비점과 보완점 및 현장에서의 필수 검시사항에 대하여 간과하는 실수를 범하지 않도록 하기 위한 매뉴얼 방식의 체크리스트를 제안하고 그것을 자료화하여 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제안함은 물론 본 연구에서의 몇가지 사례가 초석이 되어 각종 변사 사건에서의 많은 유형들에 대한 검시 사례들을 체크리스트화 및 이들을 모아 자료화 하는 등 검시 제도 및 방법 등에 대한 표준화 및 규격화 등에 대한 연구도 지속되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
An autopsy is a postmortem assessment or examination of a body to determine the cause of death. An autopsy is performed by a physician trained in pathology. Most autopsies advance medical knowledge and provide evidence for legal action. Medically, autopsies determine the exact cause and circumstances of death, discover the pathway of a disease, and provide valuable information to be used in the care of the living. The present study therefore investigates the problem in present autopsy method and suggests the manual type checklist to avoid passing the inperfections or supplement points while conducting real cases. In this study we investigated the real cases to make the checklists about various patterns of murder through the case study. Then we studied the standardization of autopsy method and instruction.
