본 논문은 교정기관 수용자를 대상으로 한 집단 영성상담 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 프로그램 기획, 설계, 실행, 평가 과정을 거치면서 연구를 수행하였다. 영성 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 선행연구 고찰 및 교정기관 수용자와 직원에 대한 요구조사를 실시하여 총 12회기의 영성상담 프로그램을 개발하였다. 예비 연구를 거쳐 최종적으로 개발된 프로그램의 효과성 검증을 위해 경기지역 S 교도소를 대상으로 실험집단 15명, 통제집단 15명을 대상으로 2022년 7월부터 9월까지 주 1회, 회기당 120분씩 총 12회기에 걸쳐 프로그램을 적용하였다. 영성상담 프로그램의 효과는 양적인 방법을 적용하여 영성, 사랑, 감사, 용서에 대한 Mann- Whitney의 U검정, 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검정(Wilcoxon’s signed-ranks test)을 실시하여 사전 사후 차이를 검증하였다. 프로그램 실시 결과는 영성, 사랑, 감사, 용서 모두 유의하게 변화한 것으로 나타났다. 본 프로그램은 교정기관 수용자들의 영성 변화에 도움이 되고, 건전한 사회복귀에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a group spiritual counseling program for a correctional institution inmates and to verify their effectiveness. In order to develop the program, research was conducted through the process of program planning, design, execution, and evaluation. In order to develop a spirituality program, a total of 12 spiritual counseling programs were developed by reviewing prior studies and conducting a demand survey on prisoners and employees of correctional institutions. In order to verify the effectiveness of the finally developed program through preliminary research, the program was applied once a week from July to September 2022 to 15 experimental groups and 15 control groups for a total of 12 sessions. Mann-Whitney's U-test and Wilcoxon's signed-rank test on spirituality, love, appreciation, and forgiveness were used to verify the effectiveness of the spiritual counseling program using a quantitative method. The results of the program were found to have significantly changed in spirituality, love, gratitude, and forgiveness. This program is expected to help change the spirituality of prisoners in correctional institutions and contribute to a sound return to society.
