이 연구는 청소년의 일상활동의 차이가 지위비행에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 일상활동을 개인적 동기 측면에서 일탈유인 기회로 접근했던 선행연구들을 확장하여 청소년 지위비행의 원인으로의 가능 성을 탐색했다. 선행연구를 기초로 하여 비행청소년의 경우 일반청소 년들과 일상활동에 있어 차이가 존재할 것이며 이러한 차이가 지위비 행의 차이에도 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가정 하에 첫째, 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 일상활동의 차이가 존재하는가, 둘째, 일상활동의 차이가 지위비행에 영향을 미치는가라는 연구문제를 도출하였다. 이러한 연구문제를 검증하기 위하여 실증연구를 수행하였고, 연구 의 수행을 위해서 2007년 9월 5일부터 9월 15일까지 열흘 동안 서울 시내 인문계･실업계 고등학교 가운데 20개의 2학년 학급을 임의로 선 정하여 남･여 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 인구 사회학적 특성에 따라 청소년의 일상활동에 있어 차이가 존재하였고, 청소년의 일상활동이 지위비행에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 감독자의 감시가 존재하지 않는 상황에서 이루어지는 활동인 비구 조화된 활동의 경우 지위비행을 조장하였고, 감독자의 감시가 존재하 는 상황에서 이루어지는 활동인 구조화된 외부활동과 가정에서 전통 적으로 수행되는 활동인 관습적 활동의 경우 지위비행을 억제한다는 학자들의 견해를 대부분 지지하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the effects of juvenile routine activities in status delinquency. The inquiry was whether the juvenile routine activities would have influence on contact with status delinquents. In order to complete the research, past documents were referenced. Based on the theoretical background suggested by the references, an experiment to prove the validity was carried out. The analysis model was reconstructed from the basic models built by scholars such as Osgood(1996). According to the previous models, the form of routine activities can be categorized into three groups. These three groups include non-structured activities in the environment without guardians, activities outside homes where the guardians have power to watch over the teenagers and conventional activities performed within homes. According to the conclusion of the research, there seems to be a connection between routine activities and contact with status juvenile delinquents. Hence, it would be possible to say that the experiment model was proven to be true, therefore validating the postulation.
