한국 성인들의 신종 사이버범죄에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

이 연구의 목적은 한국 성인들의 가정환경, 사회환경, 가족환경, 온라인환경이 신종 사이버범죄에 미치는 직접효과와 공격성향을 경유한 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있었다. 이 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위해 한국인터넷진흥원에서 2015년 10월~11월에 국내거주 만 19세~59세까지 성인남녀 모집단에서 온라인 조사를 통해 얻은 1,500명을 분석대상으로 삼았다. 구조방정식 분석결과, 한국 성인들의 개인환경, 사회환경, 가족환경, 온라인환경의 독립변인은 직접적으로 신종 사이버범죄에 영향을 미치기 보다는 공격성향을 매개하여 간접적으로 사이버범죄에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 그 중에서 특히 스트레스, 우울 및 불안으로 대표되는 개인환경과 폭력게임 및 폭력잠재성으로 대표되는 온라인환경은 공격성을 매개하여 신종 사이버범죄에 미치는 영향력은 p<.05 신뢰수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 청소년들을 대상으로 한 것이 아니라 성인들을 분석대상으로 그들의 공격성향이 신종 사이버범죄인 이미지불링, 플레밍, 사이버명령, 안티카페에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석했다는 점에서 중요한 의미를 가진다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the direct and indirect influence of Korean adults on new cyber crime. The data derived from a sample of 1,500 Korean adults aged 19 to 59 taken from Korea Internet & Security Agency in 2015. The major findings of measurement model indicated that personal environment, social environment, family environment, online environment, aggression used as latent variables had significant effects on new cyber crime by Korean adults used as dependent variable. However, the result of structural model indicated that personal environment and online environment factors indirect effects through the aggression used as mediating variable, but not social and family environment. Generally, independent variables had greater factors indirect effects through the aggression than direct effects on new cyber crime. This study has a policy implication. The most important implication is that this study is concentrated upon new cyber crime by Korean adults, not by Korean Adolescents, and aggression was the strongest on the dependent variables. Thus, this study provides support for those involved in prevention, intervention, and response strategies, which bolster aggression influence on new cyber crime by Korean adults.
