오늘날 항만은 전통적인 개념에서 벗어나 활동영역을 넓히고 항만의 전략적 관점에서 보다 능동적이고 창조자적 입장에 서있다. 또한 항만은 거대성장, 기술상의 변화, 항만관리, 항만산업에 대한 마케팅전략, 항만물류에 관해 중점을 두어 종합적이고 총체적인 관점에서 전략을 세우고 있다. 이러한 항만은 항만물류기지로서, 지역경제 활성화의 중심지로서 커다란 영향을 미치고 있다. 이처럼 항만은 지역경제성장에 있어서 중추적인 역할을 하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 주요 항만구조와 항만정책의 분석을 통해서 각종 문제를 전체적·시스템적으로 해결해 나갈 수 있는 전략들을 문헌연구를 통해서 재분석하였다.
Abstract
At the present time, Ports have to extend their domain by deviating from traditional concepts and becoming more active. Ports should also be perceived from a creative standpoint as well as from a strategic standpoint.Ports must also develop a strategy from a synthetic and general standpoint that is essential to port logistics concerning massive growth, changes in technology, management of ports, and marketing strategies of the port industry. Thus, ports have a great effect as a base of port logistics and as a center of local economic activity. The port plays a vital role in local economic growth.Therefore, this thesis deals with trends and distinctive features of port logistics, analysis of port trends and the structure of port logistics; it focuses on the problem of port logistics and port policy, and on strategies for reactivating local economies.
