Abstract

Although there have been some academic researches and social discussions about　Police-Security Cooperations, concrete outcomes of the collaboration are still remained smaller. Maybe these are emerging as a result of lack of alternatives. Even the Parties to the police- security cooperation don’t know each other, and they are lack of which police-security cooperation will bring back to each other even in conceive of benefits. This study researched some obstacles in perspective of awareness in the security of our country on police-security cooperation in the process of the foreign literature review. And then discussed the interested parties can take the expected profits, ultimately successfully for the police-security cooperation that can be drawn about success factor. Studies showed that the expected profits of the police-security cooperation include interests from contacts and exchanges, high tech and graft of specialization, growing interest in nation people's benefit, saving money in to be high technologies, expanding training infrastructure, the sharing of information.　And the success factors include the appropriateness of the collaboration of Police and Security, establishing their values, Korea Security Associations and leading enterprises’ utilization in leadership, private office and designate full-time manager, raising effort to make police-security cooperation fund and budget, public relations and particularly legal grounds for the Council for police-security cooperation on Security Services Industry Act codified.
