Modern furniture culture has a dual structure: furniture that is given the value of its work based on individual creativity and originality, and products that are commonly used by more people. The role of furniture as a device for aesthetic sensibility and communication that goes beyond the traditional functions and concepts given to furniture is expanding its realm. Ron Arad is one of the most highly regarded of his time as a furniture designer and artist for his creative abilities. He presents various creative works based on daring challenges and experimental spirit, which is the product of interest and effort throughout the production process based on understanding and exploration of materials. His works, which break the existing order and create new values, have been commercialized through collaboration with various furniture manufacturing companies, and are meeting the needs and demands of more people. By comparing and analyzing the characteristics of Ron Arad's works and mass-produced products, we try to understand the flow of modern furniture culture and predict the future
