1970년대 두발규제에 나타난 이념적 성격

Abstract

In this research, the object is to analyse the underlying ideology characteristics of long hair culture and restriction in 1970s due to situation of an era and political circumstances. Related books, literatures, collected materials, research papers, and scholarly journals which explore politics, cultures, and beauty cares in 1970s and further internet searching methods were used. First of all, it is due to nationalistic ideology. The Revitalizing Reforms system allowed the government to construct the society such that it could control personal tastes and interests and restrict daily routines as criminals. Second, it was by cause of politic resistance. With traditional values of older generation and strict control by the government derived resistance awareness of the young and resulted in promotion of consumptions. Third, the tendency toward western oriented theory is one of the factor. Dissemination of mass media and spread of the public culture affected the youth culture in 1970s and, more fundamental, it was a by-product of modernization policy focused on westernization. According to the research, the culture of beauty care developed inside the public culture with strong impact of the government power and restricted regulations throughout the period of times. It is expected that this paper will be referred as a fundamental data of the continuous beauty care culture research.
