조선왕실보첩류 활용을 위한 기록물 현황조사 -장서각소장 『선원계보기략』을 중심으로

Abstract

The biggest obstacle for Archives Preservation is users' Access. But not achieving to access the Archives, Archives Preservation would be practically useless. The contradicts between preservation and use are also more notable in Archives. The Royal family record books of Joseon Dynasty(朝鮮王室) are official records whose management and preservation have also been dealt with most importantly in granted level. Seonwon-gyebo-giryak(璿源系譜紀略) must be the main book of these Archives, for this book is one of the official records that had been written and preserved for 250 years from 1679(King Sukjong the 5th year) to 1932. But this data is a rare book, so researchers have not been able to deal these original data that will be preserve permanently. And as Seonwon-gyebo-giryak were printed several and the copies have delicate shades of text, the versions of the same names with Seonwon- gyebo-giryak were transferred to several storage places and have been left in disorder mixed with different versions for a long time. Such situation have virtually blocked the researchers to access to these data. Accordingly, the aim of this report will focus on finding and arranging the documentaries of the history which can not utilize practically for the reason of preservation and the researchers being easy to use of these data. For the purpose of this, I carried out the objective work based on MF(about 100 versions) of Seonwon-gyebo-giryak made by the project expenses of Korea Research Foundation-Support Project(韓國學術振興財團支援事業) from the 9th of 2006 to the 8th of 2008. I hope that these efforts will be a little help Seonwon-gyebo-giryak to be permanently preserved records for the use than for the reservation.
