초록
Spatial computing integrates physical spatial information with various urban data—such as IoT, transportation, and environmental inputs—and supports intuitive spatial understanding through immersive AR, VR, and MR interfaces. Over the past decade, research has focused on linking these technologies with digital twins to enhance urban simulations and decision-making, exemplified by Singapore’s Virtual Singapore, which combines high-resolution 3D models with real-time data for policy development. Spatial computing has also shown practical value in areas like traffic management and infrastructure maintenance, yet existing studies remain limited to virtualization and real-time modeling within specific domains. Moreover, the integration of AI for real-time analysis, prediction, and autonomous decision support is still insufficient. To address these gaps, this paper proposes an integrated framework that strengthens spatial computing through AI-based data interpretation and interoperability across heterogeneous services for smart city applications.
