초록
Currently, most metaverse platforms rely on centralized databases for data management. However, metaverse data presents challenges due to its heterogeneous characteristics, including real-time spatial information, user interactions, and digital assets. This diversity makes single-system management inefficient. Furthermore, ensuring clear digital asset ownership remains a significant hurdle. This study proposes a data classification framework that categorizes metaverse data based on its structural properties. We have designed a hybrid data management paradigm that combines the processing efficiency of distributed real-time database with the trust and transparency of blockchain technology. To validate this approach, we implemented a prototype using the Unity engine. This prototype employes a dual-layered architecture: real-time information is managed via Firebase, while digital asset ownership data is stored on the Ethereum blockchain. Our prototype demonstrates that this hybrid paradigm can simultaneously achieve efficient data processing and secure asset ownership within metavserse environments. This research provides a technical foundation for future metaverse data architecture design and management strategies, addressing both performance requirements and ownership challenges in virtual environments.
