본 연구는 문제중심학습 교육을 받은 간호학 전공 졸업자가 학부의 교과과정을 마친 후 경험하는 비판적 사고에 대한 구조와 그 특성을 Q방법을 통해 파악하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구결과 간호학 전공 졸업자의 임상간호에 대한 비판적 사고는 모두 3개의 유형으로 확인되었다. 1) 자기주도적 지식추구를 통한 인과적 관계 추론과 통합적 사고 유형은 문제상황을 이론적 지식과 연계하여 인과적 관계를 자기주도적으로 파악하고 통합적 사고를 통해 간호중재를 적용하려는 사고형태이다. 2) 자율적 의사결정 및 효율성에 대한 지적 기술의 근거 추론과 반성적 사고 유형은 긴급상황에서 환자의 회복을 위해 무엇이 우선적으로 이루어져야 하는지에 대한 간호사의 자율적인 의사결정과 중재의 효율성에 대해 재확인하는 반성적 사고를 포함하는 사고형태이다. 3) 실무적용 증진을 위한 메타인지적 사고 유형은 정확한 중재를 제공하기 위해 기존지식에 대한 의문과 다양한 정보를 받아들이려는 개방적인 태도를 가지고 간호사 자신의 사고과정을 파악하고 새로운 관점의 추론을 통해 실무적용에 대비하려는 사고형태이다.
Abstract
The need for critical thinking in nursing has been accentuated in response to rapidly changing health care environment. Critical thinking allows graduate nurses to decide which solution is the most reasonable for clinical situation by identifying problem, assessing resources, and decide possible interventions. This research was conducted to identify subjective factors and characteristics in critical thinking on clinical nursing of graduate nurse who have been educated through problem-based learning method. Method: The research design was a Q-Methodological approach. Thirty-selected Q-statements were sorted by 30 graduate nurses. Result: Three factors for critical thinking for clinical nursing were identified; 1) self-directed searching knowledge and reasoning based on causal relation, 2) reasoning graduate nurse’s autonomic decision-making and nursing intervention focused on problem-situation, and 3) reasoning inquiry and open-minded attitude for old and new informations to improve situational coping ability. Conclusion: Findings of this research will serve the basis for understanding the critical thinking of graduate nurse who experienced problem-based learning and developing educational program for clinical nurse to improve critical thinking.
