이 연구는 아스퍼거 장애아동의 음악치료 과정을 통해 일어나는 경험의 의미를 분석한 것이다. 만 6세 아동의 일 년간 종합적인 발달프로그램 과정에서 음악치료는 후반기 6개월 과정으로 편성되었으며, 음악그룹치료와 병행한 개별음악치료는 음악 만들기 기법으로 4개월간 실행되었다. 세션의 전 과정은 녹화되었으며 질적인 자료 분석을 위해 비디오테이프, 필사된 악보, 연구자의 세션일지가 연구 자료로 사용되었다. 이후 치료사간 삼각측량을 통해 개별음악치료 활동에서 나타난 의미단위를 범주화하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 음악 만들기 경험은 아스퍼거 장애아동의 의사소통을 촉진하고, 자폐적 행동에 변화를 가져오며, 내면과 외현의 통로로 작용하는 의미 있는 경험인 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This purpose of this study was to investigate Music-making experience for 6 year old boy with Asperger Disorder. The individual music therapy sessions were conducted 4 months by a primary therapist and two co-therapists. All the session were recorded on video tapes. Then, these therapists reviewed each video tape and session logs, and chose the meaningful experiences of music therapy. The researcher as a primary therapist analyzed the qualitative data. As a result, it has been founded that Music-making program facilitated empathy capacity's development, improved social interaction, decreased autistic behavior, showed his emotions. Therefore, Music-making is supposed to be a useful vehicle for helping the development of social interaction on children with Asperger Disorder.
