일회성 중재 방법에 따른 항암화학요법을 받는 부인암환자의 통증, 불안 및 우울

초록

이 연구는 김지연, 김영신(2009)의 후속연구로, 감상중심의 일회성 음악치료와 노래중심의 일회성 음악치료가 항암화학요법을 받는 부인암환자의 통증, 불안 및 우울에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 연구의 대상은 서울시내의 S종합병원에 입원한 항암화학요법을 받는 부인암환자 45명으로 감상중심 집단, 노래중심 집단, 휴식집단에 각각 12명, 17명, 16명이 포함되었다. 연구는 2009년 8월 24일부터 2010년 1월 5일까지 감상중심의 일회성 음악치료와 노래중심의 일회성 음악치료, 그리고 음악치료가 배제된 휴식을 중재로 하여 시행되었으며 측정은 모든 집단에 Wewers와 Lowe(1990)가 개발한 통증 측정도구, Spielberger(1972)가 개발하고 김정택과 신동균(1978)이 번안한 상태불안 측정도구, 그리고 Zung(1965)이 개발하고 신석철(1977)이 번안한 우울 측정도구를 이용하여 음악치료 중재 전, 후로 실시하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 감상중심의 일회성 음악치료 중재는 통증에, 노래중심의 일회성 음악치료 중재는 불안에 있어 다른 중재보다 긍정적인 효과가 있었으며, 통계적으로 유의미하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of listening-centered and singing-centered single-session music therapy intervention on pain, anxiety, and depression of the gynecologic cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Subjects were 60 gynecologic cancer patients receiving chemotherapy in gynecology clinics of S hospital in Seoul. They were randomly into the three groups: the listening-centered group(n=20), singing-centered group(n=20), and control group(n=20). The data collected from 45 subjects(12 from the listening-centered group, 17 from the singing-centered group and 16 from the control group) were analyzed and 15 subject who were away or did not participate in post-test were excluded. This study consisted of pre-test, intervention, chemotherapy, and post-test. The experimental group participated in each of the listening-centered and singing-centered single-session music therapy program, while the control group did not participate. As a result, the listening-centered single-session music therapy intervention had statistically positive effects on pain compared to the singing and the control group (p< .05), while the singing-centered single-session music therapy intervention had statistically positive effects on anxiety compared to the listening and the control group (p< .05).
