정보의 연계망 이론에 의거한 ‘격물-치지-성의-정심’의 재해석

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to re-definition of Ke wu - Chih chih - Ch'eng ui - Cheng hsin(格物 - 致知 - 誠意 - 正心) that named ‘the Four Categories of the Ta-hsueh’. The Ke wu - Chih chih - Ch'eng ui - Cheng hsin are practical principles of the neo-Cofucinism education. So, it is necessary to a re- interpreter and a re- definition of the Four Categories of the ‘Ta - hsueh' for developing of the Confucianism education theory. Because that a direction of the Confucianism development is toward information oriented, a reference of the re-interpretation and the re-definition is a chain of data-information-knowledge-wisdom, called a ‘chain of information’. Results of the re-interpretation and re-definition are as follows: A old definition of the Ke wu is ‘to face matters and to investigate it’s Li’. But a new definition of the one is ‘to get dates from signs’. A old definition of the Chih chih is that ‘a mind know Li' But a new definition of the one is ‘to get informations from datum’. A old definition of the Ch'eng ui is that 'my mind became sincere'. But a new definition of the one is ‘to get knowledges from informations’. A old definition of the Cheng hsin is ‘to keep a right mind with Li. But a new definition of the one is ‘to get a wisdom from knowledges’. The results of this study give a possibility of a information oriented theory to the Confucianism.
