범불안장애 아동 양육자의 심리정서 지원으로서의 음악심리치료 경험에 관한 사례연구

초록

본 연구는 범불안장애 아동을 양육하는 주 양육자(모)가 심리정서지원을 위한 음악심리치료 참여 과정에서 어떠한 경험을 하는지에 대한 탐색과 그 경험의 치료적 의미를 살피는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 중부교육청에서 주관하는 ‘함께 만들어 가는 DIY 학생 학부모 상담’을 위한 음악심리상담 프로그램에 지원했던 주 양육자(모)가 참여했다. GIM과 AMT를 중심으로 하는 음악심리치료는 2022년 9월 15일부터 10월 27일까지 총 10회기로 구성되었다. 자료 수집은 회기별 녹취와 축어록, 관찰일지, 모든 회기의 음악심리치료 참여 과정에서 나타난 참여자의 언어, 비언어적 행동관찰, 예술적 표현들(음악, 미술, 글)을 통해 이루어졌다. 반복적 비교분석법을 적용하여 분석한 결과, ‘자신의 현재 상태 인식’, ‘자신의 감정을 공감 및 표현’, ‘자신의 감정 공감이 어려웠던 원인 인식’, ‘자녀의 감정을 공감’, ‘자신의 변화를 시작으로 자녀와의 관계 변화’, ‘내적 자아와 친밀한 관계 형성’으로, 총 6개의 상위범주와 18개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 범불안장애 자녀 주 양육자(모)의 심리 정서 회복을 위한 음악심리치료가 참여자로 하여금 심리․정서적 상처를 치유하고 회복하여 자녀의 불안을 수용하고 공감할 수 있도록 이끄는 변화와 성장을 이루었다는 것에 의의 가 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore what kind of experiences the main caregiver(mother) of a child with generalized anxiety disorder experiences in the process of participating in music psychotherapy for psycho-emotional support, and to examine the therapeutic meaning of the experience. To this end, the main caregiver(mother) who applied for the music psychological counseling program for 'DIY Student-Parent Counselling Making Together' organized by the JungBu District Office of Education, participated. Music psychotherapy centered on GIM and AMT consisted of total of 10 sessions from September 15 to October 27, 2022. Data collection was conducted through session recordings, verbatim transcripts, observation journals, and participants' language and non-verbal behavioral observation, and artistic expressions(music, art, and writing). As a result of constant comparative method, a total of 6 upper categories and 18 lower categories were derived, including 'recognition of one's current state', 'empathy and expression of one's emotions', 'recognition of the reason why it was difficult to empathize with one's emotions', 'empathy with one's own child's emotions', 'change in relationship with a child starting with one's own change', and 'formation of an intimate relationship with the inner self'. This study is meaningful in that music psychotherapy for the psychological and emotional recovery of the main caregiver(mother) of a child with generalized anxiety disorder has achieved change and growth that lead the participant to heal and recover psychological and emotional wounds and empathize with the child's anxiety.
