Abstract

This paper critically surveys two attempts(thermodynamic perspective and coevolutionay perspective) to replace the vision of Neoclassical Economics by that of Ecological Economics. Utilizing Prigogine's theory of thermodynamics, I investigate into the difference between two perspectives and offer some clues to settlement of the difference. Thereby will the vision of Ecological Economics be furthered.
