『布衣交集』의 문체와 서사적 특징

Abstract

Po-Eui-Gyo-Jip(布衣交集) which was estimated to be written at the end of 19C was a novel with Seoul for a realistic time and space background between 1864 and 1866. I looked into the development and change of the tradition of aiqing-chuanqi(愛情傳奇) which Po-Eui-Gyo-Jip has. I looked into the historical tendency of 17C aiqing-chuanqi-sosol on ChapterⅡ. An inquiry of the characters proves that feminism was emphasized and works were minuitely distinguished by the ending form. I inquired into the development and change of the tradition of aiqing-chuanqi which Po-Eui-Gyo-Jip has on chapterⅢ. First of all, I paid attention to loneliness and inner world of a hero which were able to prescribed as narrative grammar of aiqing-chuanqi to understand the aspects of succession. I also looked into a flowery style of aiqing-chuanqi. As a result, I could confirm that Yi-Sang(李生) and Yang-Pa(楊婆) used poem and poetical composition to express their loneliness like heros in the previous generation. Secondly, I could know that the flowery and elegant style was used to express their inmost heart at the scene of first meeting and in letters after parting. Thirdly, I made certain of the common application of Jeon-go(典故). I looked into the aspects of change from the tradition of aiqing-chuanqi on the base of the results. The main person of desire was not a man but a woman in the change of character establishment. Besides Yang-Pa's husband and Jung-Yak(仲約) interrupted Yanpa's desire. As meeting and time were delayed, scenes of complications were intensively described. Moreover, Yang-Pa was described that she endured troubles for belief. The writer created this work to criticize the spoiled state of society. I wrote the position of Po-Eui-Gyo-Jip in 19C chuanqi-sosol, comparing with Jol-Hwa-ki-Dam(折花奇談) and the current of traditional Korean novels in 19C.
