선형모형을 적용한 청소년기 애착의 변화양상에 관한 종단연구

초록

본 연구는 청소년기 애착의 변화양상 및 그 변화에서의 개인차에 대한 성별의 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이에 청소년기 가장 밀접한 대상으로 대표되어지는 부모애착과 또래애착 두 변수들의 변화양상 및 종단적인 관계를 검증하였다. 또한, ‘한국청소년패널조사’ 중학교 2학년의 1차-6차년도 종단데이터를 활용하여 다층성장모형(Multilevel Growth Model)분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 무조건 성장모형에서는 청소년기 부모애착과 또래애착이 시간이 경과함에 따라 점차 증가하는 변화패턴을 보였으며, 초기값과 변화율에서 개인차가 유의하였다. 둘째, 남녀 청소년 모두 유사하게 선형형태로 증가하였으나, 초기값과 변화율에서는 성차가 확인되었다. 셋째, 조건성장모형을 분석한 결과, 청소년의 부모애착 초기치 및 부모애착의 변화가 또래애착의 변화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 성별에 따라 또래애착 변화를 예측하는 요인에서 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 실천현장에서의 실천적 개입전략과 사회복지에의 함의를 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to estimate change patterns in adolescents' attachment levels and explore the effect of subjects’gender on these patterns. This study also examined the relationship between parents attachment level and peer attachment level using a longitudinal study. The data was selected from 2003 to 2008 KYPS(Cohorts of middle school 2nd-graders). For the analyses, a MGM method was employed using STATA 12.0. The major findings are as follows: First, unconditional growth models showed that both adolescents’parents attachment and peer attachment linearly increased from the first to the sixth year. As the initial status of the parents/peer attachment was higher, the growth rates of speed reduction or the change increased less. Second, both boys’ and girls' parents attachment and peer attachment increased significantly over time. The parents and peer attachment level of girl adolescents is higher than that of boys initially. However, boys' growth rates of peer attachment are higher than those of girls. Third, conditional growth models were analyzed that early parents attachment and changing parents attachment affects peer attachment later. Gender, number of siblings and early parents attachment had significant effects on the initial status of peer attachment. In addition, family structure and parents attachment were found to the affect growth rate of peer attachment. The factors influencing the change of peer attachment were different by gender. Any intervention strategy must necessarily consider these gender differences in order to promote peer attachment. Gender-specific characteristics should be taken into account when adolescent programs are designed and implemented. Interaction between genders and time also affected peer attachment levels. These findings have provided various theoretical and practical implications for professionals in the field of Social Work.
