AHP방법을 적요한 전문대학 전공수업 평가준거의 가중치 결정

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relative weights of evaluating criteria for the instruction in junior colleges and differential relative weights by its major fields, the characteristics of instruction and class sizes. The population in this study was all professors of junior colleges in Korea. A survey instrument was developed by researchers based on review of literature and a panel of expert's opinion. The relative weights of criteria for evaluating the instruction were computed by the eigen vector of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The major results in this study were as follows. First, relative weights of criteria for evaluating the instruction were calculated. Concerning the dimension's weights, Effectiveness and Work Orientation were weighed relatively higher than the other dimensions. Moreover, concerning the elements' weights, Connection of theory and practice, Suitability of method and material and Motivation were relatively higher weighed than the other elements. Second, there were some differential relative weights of criteria by its major fields. Work Orientation in agriculture-related majors, Clarity and Attraction in nursing & health majors, Reciprocal Interaction in humanities & social sciences were relatively higher weighed than the other dimensions. Third, there were some differential relative weights of criteria by its characteristics of instruction. Reciprocal Interaction in theoretical class, Work Orientation in practical class and integrated class were relatively higher weighed than the other dimensions. Forth, the relative weights of criteria in six dimensions were similar to the general weights. However, some weights of criteria in 17 elements were shown the difference by class size. Novelty and Goal Attainment in middle class, Feasibility and Novelty in large class were relatively higher weighed than the other dimensions.
