NCS 기반 교육과정 도입에 따른 중등직업교육교원의 양성･임용･연수 개선 요구분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the improvement needs for pre-service education,induction program and in-service training of secondary vocational education teachers inNCS-based curriculum. This study was conducted through reviewing literature and survey aboutpre-service education, induction program and in-service training of secondary vocationaleducation teachers. Using random sampling method considering school type, 1,179 secondaryvocational education teachers were sampled for the study. These data were analyzed by bothdescriptive statistics and ANOVA. All data analysis was accomplished using the SPSS 19.0 forwindows program. The major conclusions of this study were as follows. First, the improvement needs related to1) mandated industry-job training, 2) pre-service program reform, 3) creation of new subject arehigh in term of pre-service education. Second, the improvement needs related to 1) improvementof promotion system, 2) Strengthen verification of practical skills, 3) Enhanced autonomy forindividual schools to rare subjects are high in term of induction program. Third, the improvementneeds related to 1) in-service training program expansion of facilities with industry-specificexpertise, 2) diversification of in-service training targeted vocational subject teacher, 3)Strengthen of practical program in term of in-service training. Some recommendations for promotion policy and future researches were suggested. First,pre-service education system of secondary vocational education teachers need to be reorganized. Second, verification process of practical skills need to be expanded. Third, in-service training systemneeds to be established focusing on competencies required for the operation NCS-based curriculum.
