자격분류를 활용한 자격의 임금효과분석에 관한 시범연구

Abstract

Qualifications are taking on growing significance as the society becomes more knowledge and capabilities based. Still, qualifications are not being fully utilized because they are not field based enough. Therefore, it is necessary to periodically assess the performance of qualifications, based on which underutilized qualifications should be supplemented or abolished. Here, the problem is how to assess the performance of qualifications. One major method is to assess qualifications' effect on wage and for this purpose, qualification classification based on job duties should be done first. This is because the qualifications codes produced through classification is the only way to control job duties in the same area in order to assess accurate wage premium within the same job area. In this context, the qualifications classification was carried out first and then the wage effects of job duties in the machinery and electronics field were analyzed using the Matching method. This is the first study addressing qualifications' effects on wage in the same area of job duties by specific working area and by qualification level.
