공간에서 빛이라 하면 비어있는 공간을 빛이 채움으로써 그 실체가 부각 되어지는 것처럼 빛은 인간과 공간과의 상호작용을 통해 물리적 작용을 넘어서서 인간의 심리에까지 도달하며 이로서 이성과 감성을 이어주는 역할을 하게 되어 인간에게 더욱더 풍부한 경험을 제공하게 된다. 빛은 공간인식에 있어 시 지각적으로 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 공간 형성요소로서 건축 공간의 구성 방법이나 구성 요소특성에 따라 다양한 공간의 윤곽이 형성되어지며, 체험을 통해 다양한 의미로 인식되어 지고 있다. 이러한 빛은 건축에 있어서, 그 표현특성과 의미를 파악하기 위해서 단편적인 해석보다는 종합적인 측면에서 파악해야 하며, 건축공간의 구성요소와의 관계성을 바탕으로 할 때, 진정한 빛의 표현특성과 그 의미를 파악할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
When a space is filled with light, the space is appeared as what we see. Light makes possible for people to recognize space and object through physical interaction, but it can also have a great effect on human psychology. Light takes an important role in connecting rational and emotional side of people, and it provides richer experience for them. One of the most significant composition elements in architect is the light which affects the recognition of space and object. Various shape and space are created by numerous composition methods or characteristics of elements, but they can be also recognized by different people with different experiences. In an architect, light has to be evaluated as whole instead of as separate element. When it is considered as a key component with other composition elements, the true meaning of light and its characteristics will be appreciated.
