초록

연구목적 이 연구는 장애 특이적 변인으로서 장애수용과 장애의 심각성, 그리고 심리 내적 변인으로서 우울, 자존감, 자기효능감이 여성 지체장애인의 삶의 만족에 미치는 종단적 효과를 알아보았다. 연구방법 이 연구의 대상은 지체장애가 있는 571명의 여성이었고, 연구에 사용된 자료는 장애인 고용패널 2차웨이브 6차연도, 7차연도까지 수집된 자료에서 추출되었다. 이 연구는 중다회귀분석을 사용하여 장애 특이적변인과 심리 내적 변인의 장래 삶의 만족에 대한 종단적 효과를 알아보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 6차 시점의 삶의 만족이 7차 시점의 삶의 만족에 대한 자기회귀 효과는 정적으로 유의하였다. 둘째, 6차 시점의 삶의 만족의 7차 시점의 삶의 만족에 대한 효과를 통제한 뒤에 통제변인으로서 연령대, 혼인상태, 경제활동상태, 주관적 경제적 지위, 학력, 신체적 건강은 7차 시점의 삶의 만족을 유의하게 예측하지 못하였다. 셋째, 6차 시점의 삶의 만족과 통제변인의 7차 시점의 삶의 만족에 대한 효과를 통제한 뒤에 장애의 심각성과 장애수용은 7차 시점의 삶의 만족을 유의하게 정적으로 예측하였다. 넷째, 6차 시점의 삶의 만족, 통제변인, 장애 특이적 변인의 7차 시점의 삶의 만족에 미치는 효과를 통제한 뒤에 우울과 자존감은 7차 시점의 삶의만족을 유의하게 예측하지 못하였으나, 자기효능감은 7차 시점의 삶의 만족을 유의하게 예측하였다. 결론 이 연구의 결과들은 선행 시점의 삶의 만족과 자기효능감이 후행 시점의 삶의 만족을 예측하는데 중요한 역할을 한다고 제안한다.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examined the longitudinal effects of acceptance of disability and severity of disability as disability-specific variables, depression, self-esteem, and self-efficacy as psychological internal variables on life satisfaction in women with physical disabilities. Method: The participants of this study were 571 women with physical disabilities. The data of this study came from the 6th to 7th time points in the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled 2nd Wave. This study examined the longitudinal effects of disability-specific variables and psychological internal variables on life satisfaction in the future using multiple regression analysis. Results: First, the auto-regressive effect of the 6th time point’s life satisfaction on the 7th time point was positively significant. Second, age group, marital status, economic activity status, subjective economic status, level of education, and physical health as control variables did not significantly predict in the 7th time point’s life satisfaction after controlling the effect of the 6th time point’s life satisfaction. Third, the severity of disability and acceptance of disability did significantly and positively predict the 7th time point’s life satisfaction after controlling the effects of the 6th life satisfaction and control variables. Fourth, depression and self-esteem did not significantly predict the 7th time point’s life satisfaction, but self-efficacy significantly and positively predicted the 7th time point’s life satisfaction after controlling the effects of the 6th time point’s life satisfaction, control variables, and disability-specific variables. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the previous time point’s life satisfaction and self-efficacy play a significant role in predicting the following time point’s life satisfaction.
