고령화 사회로의 가속화에 함께 치매 환자가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 치매 를 두려워하는 사회적 인식과 맞물려 치매 예방에 대한 관심과 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 치매 예방 측면에서 임상적으로 중요한 단계인 경도인지장애에 주목하여 경도인지장애 환자의 효과적인 인지 기능 개선을 돕기 위한 앱 서비스 컨셉을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 문헌 연 구를 통해 경도인지장애의 특성을 이해하고, 인지중재 치료 중 경도인지 장애의 특성에 적합한 치료인 회상요법의 인지 기능 개선 원리와 효과 적인 회상요법 영향요인에 대해 알아보았다. 이후 보다 심도 있는 회상 요법 진행방법을 파악하고자 전문가 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 이러한 연구 를 바탕으로 맞춤형 ‘스캐폴딩(Scaffolding)’ 전략을 적용한 회상요법 앱 서비스 컨셉을 제안하였고, 이를 위한 디자인 고려사항을 도출하였다. 이후 스캐폴딩 전략에 기반을 두어 회상 난이도 단계별 콘텐츠를 기획하고, 주요 콘텐츠의 화면 인터페이스를 구성하여 사용 시나리오 예시를 통해 설명하 였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 스캐폴딩 기반 회상요법 앱 서비스 컨셉을 통해 경도인지장애 환자의 인지 향상을 위한 회상요법이 보다 개인화되어 효과 적으로 진행될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
As society ages, the number of dementia patients and the interest in dementia prevention are increasing. This study focuses on mild cognitive impairment (MCI) as a crucial stage for preventing dementia. It aims to propose an app service design concept to improve the cognitive function of people with MCI through reminiscence therapy. First, the characteristics of MCI and reminiscence therapy which is one of the cognitive interventions were investigated through literature research. Subsequently, Expert Interviews were conducted with reminiscence therapists. As a result, a Concept for a reminiscence therapy app that provides personalized assistance using a customized scaffolding strategy was proposed. Besides, design considerations were derived for this. After that, the Contents and UI were designed based on the scaffolding strategy. Through the Concept for a reminiscence therapy app that provides personalized assistance using a scaffolding strategy, it is expected that reminiscence therapy for improving the cognitive function of people with MCI can be more personalized and effectively performed.
