소셜 및 모바일의 사용이 증대되고 다양한 온라인 활동으로 이용자 인증의 비밀번호 관리에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 일부 서비스에서는 사용자 계정의 암호가 만료되지 않도록 설정하는 것을 권장하고 있으며, 일부 법적 요구사항에서는 주기적으로 사용자의 비밀번호 변경을 명시하고 있어 괴리가 발생하고 있다. 일부 이용자들의 경우 여러 사이트에 동일 비밀번호 또는 특정 규칙에 따른 비밀번호를 설정하고 있으며, 일부 사이트의 경우 다중인증을 적용하지 않고 있어 비밀번호 유출시 위험과 피해가 증대되게 된다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 인증에 대해 다중인증을 적용해야 하는 필요성을 알아보고, 다중인증을 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.
Abstract
The use of social and mobile has increased, and the importance of password management of user authentication has been emphasized through various online activities. Some services are encouraging users to set their account passwords to not expire, and some legal requirements periodically specify a user's password change, resulting in a gap. Some users are setting passwords according to the same password or specific rules on various sites. In some sites, multi-factor authentication method are not applied, which increases the risk and damage when passwords are leaked. In this paper, we will investigate the necessity of applying multi-factor authentication to user authentication and propose a method to apply multi-factor authentication.
