Abstract

This study redefines the concept of inclusive communication and explores its practical implications in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). The literature mostly addresses the communication barriers caused by disabilities and the protection of marginalized groups from discriminatory speech. Expanding on this view, this study examines how AI technologies can concomitantly promote and threaten inclusion through hate speech and biases. Furthermore, careful attention must be paid to relational literacy, which is essential for realizing inclusive communication.
